School Leavers
Castle Personnel works closely with school leavers and their families to make an informed choice about their future. To learn more about eligibility for the Transition to Work Program, please visit Ageing, Disability and Home Care’s website http://www.dadhc.nsw.gov.au/. If you wish to apply for a Transition to Work program, please talk to your teacher at school, who with the help of your Support Teacher Transition will arrange for the required assessments to be completed if you are suitable.
The Transition to Work program will assist you to develop the skills, qualifications and confidence required to obtain the job you want. Our program focuses on employment with an emphasis on obtaining independence in all aspects of living an adult life. Castle's Support Workers will work with you to develop an Individual Program Plan that meets your interests, needs and goals. Your plan is implemented through on and off site sessions over a period of three to five days a week. Please refer to our Sample Timetables for more information.
